Kindly view that I have already written in the post that on seeing the CS itself I had a doubt that there has been some typographic mistake from the college while entering the data. Hello and it is the final selection cat percentile. That means this was the percentile of the last candidate from each category who was offered admission to IIM Kashipur. But don't take it as the only measure for conversion.

ReplyDeleteHey Vinay thanks for the appreciation. Regarding your query I would say not only IIM but none of the institutes publicly disclose the composite score except under RTI. All the data you see has been provided by the institute under the RTI act which makes it compulsory for any public institute to provide these details. I also have official copies stored with me so this data is absolutely genuine provided by the institute themselves.

The new IIMs you have listed especially the first 3 are in quite high demand each year. Converting those seem slightly difficult. However, it is not like it is impossible. While baby IIMs would be converted I suppose you could convert new IIMs in later lists. Being fresher is a disadv. but not as much as for older ones. And remember conversion depends on a whole lot of factors so no one can say for sure. All the Best :)

Hello and regarding the conversions. See it depends on a whole lot of things so no one can say for sure. But as far as I say you still have good chances of converting the baby IIMs. For new IIMs they too might be converted but in later lists. Thanks and All the Best !!!

For DAP candidates , in IIM udaipur waitlist movement is just 10, still minimum cat percentile has gone to 41, whereas in Kashipur, waitlist movement has gone to 52, but minimum percentile for the converted DAP candidate is 73. How is it possible as both follow CAP

ReplyDeleteHey Mrigank. These stats are 100 percent credible since they have been provided to me by the college itself under the RTI Act. I don't have data regarding the no. of lists or the offers in each list. But you can get this data by filing an RTI on IIM Kashipur. And these guys genuinely reply pretty quickly. So you should get that data within 2-3 weeks. Thanks and do tell me if any other help is needed. :)

ReplyDeleteHello. So the thing is whatever data I have provided here has been given to me by the college itself. So I merely display the data publicly, whatever I receive from the college. And if the college provides the data directly nothing can be perfect than that. So this is 100 percent correct. Do tell if you have any other doubts :)

ReplyDeleteHey thelifebay. So I had asked to get the waitlist movement for IIM Kashipur. And waitlist movement does not include the first offer for direct converts. And going by the trends of last year you should convert in subsequent lists. However, this changes every year hence also remember that no one can say anything for sure. Thanks :)

Hey. SC 1049 seems really difficult. Had it been general then it would have been a convert. But for SC since seats are 15 percent of the total seats this is nearly a reject frankly. But again I would say this changes every year and no one can say anything for sure. Thanks :)
