Great work man
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the appreciation !!
DeleteAmazing work. Can you do the same for other baby/new IIMs. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHello and yes working on it. Also, thank you very much for the appreciation !!!!
DeleteCan you please provide this for rohtak before 6th Feb, If possible ?
ReplyDeleteI won't commit but will try my best :)
DeleteFirstly appreciate your time and efforts for gathering information and preparing this.
ReplyDeleteI have on question in above data how can CS for OBC is more that Gen CS ( if you see the last percentile of OBC its at 75). Can you please cross check the data?
Hello and thanks for the appreciation. Regarding this confusion I already had mails from multiple people. So the thing is this data I have posted is what I have received officially from the institute. So this data is absolutely correct even I had the doubt but I have the official stamped copy from the college so can't change it.
DeleteVery useful information. Can you please provide the components of composite score? It is not available in their website
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Bhaskar for the appreciation. Currently, I only have the criteria for the initial call which is the cap shortlisting criteria followed by IIM Raipur (https://cap2021.iimraipur.edu.in/pdf2021/Shortlisting_Criteria_15jan2021.pdf). The final composite criteria I would be able to send after a few days. Thanks !!!
Deletehows this possible last year i was on waiting list @278 and didn't converted from nc obc category
ReplyDeleteHey, the data is correct. And of course you couldn't convert at 278 because the actual waitlist starts from second offer. So if you add the waitlist movement for NC-OBC from the second list it comes to 113. So basically NC-OBC had a shift of 113. Don't take the first list since that is the direct merit convert list.
DeleteCan u pls do this analysis for other new iims as well.
ReplyDeleteYou r doing a great work.
Hey Saumya. I am already working and you should get the data for all the institutes in the coming 2 weeks. Also, thanks a lot for the appreciation !!!
DeleteHey thnxx for such useful information....can u please help with the composite score calculation for iim sambalpur...thnxx..!!!
ReplyDeleteHello and most welcome. Regarding the composite score calculation, the best people to ask the same would be the admissions committee of IIM Sambalpur as they would be in an official position to help you regarding the same. Thanks and do tell me if you need any other help :)
Deletehey ronit what does hear mean first , second and third offer would you plz explain
ReplyDeleteHey. For simplicity consider those a part of waitlist movement itself. Thanks :)
DeleteFirst of all thank you for great work. I have doubt What's difference between first/second/third offer and list 1/2/3...?
ReplyDeleteHello. So see what I do is I just disseminate the official information as I receive from the college. What I am understanding by these offers is they might have given few more people converts seeing that offers are not being accepted before starting with waitlists. But this is just my theory and if you want to be absolutely sure, I think dropping a mail to the adcom is the best way to get this clarified. Also, a huge thanks for the appreciation :)
DeleteKudos to your hard work but I have a question. Many similar or above IIMs than Sambalpur has EWS waitlist movement much more than this one which is just 279-220= 59. Is that correct? Please reply on this
ReplyDeleteHey. Thank you so much for the appreciation. Now coming to your question, I merely disseminate the information I have received from the college. I received this information in the official RTI response from the institute. :)
DeleteI'm currently at 95 in EWS waitlist (was 107 in second list after paying 10k). Is there any chance? Because the data given here looks a little ambiguous. Thank You in advance.
ReplyDeleteEven at 95 I feel it should be a convert. Although these statistics change every year but yet many people will leave Sambalpur for better converts. So even at 95 it should get converted in upcoming lists. Thanks :)
