      The problem with IIM Shillong is it will never provide response to RTI and even if it does it will be a super stupid response. I will still try my best to gather the data as much as I can. Thanks :)

    Hello.
    As far as the two points they provided out of 8 I had asked, it clearly shows that they have a different category known as others for General and NC-OBC. So it does seem that there is no separate category. Though you would get this confirmation from the adcom who would be in an official authority to comment on this. Thanks :)

    Sir I've seen their composite score calculation, they provide 50 percent weightage to cat percentile, so this year the cutoff will go up for sure because of usage of cat percentile

      You definitely have a chance of conversion but you will need to wait for a few lists to get the final convert. Please note though I am stating this as per what I have seen over the years and will also depend on the buffer calls given out by the institute. Thanks and All the Best :)

      As per the trends I have seen and the buffer calls the institute might have given, you might convert in one of the last couple of lists. However, please note no one can say for sure and thus this can go other ways as well depending on the buffer calls. Thanks and All the Best :)

      Hello.
      Even with the buffer calls as per my knowledge OBC-86 should give you a convert. Regarding which list stating that is frankly difficult at the moment.       Frankly very very difficult to convert at Gen-1267. That is because the buffer calls have been too high this year and thus the waitlist movements have reduced substantially. Though please note this is as per my experience and knowledge. Thanks and All the Best :)

      Happy to do so. You are already doing a great job. It is available at IIM Trichy website. Programmes- PGPM (or any other programme)-RTI. They have provided 3 years data for all programmes.

      As per the trends, colleges have given excessive buffer calls this year which is leading to problems. Though I would say you might still have a slight chance in the last lists. Thanks and All the Best :)
