DeleteMy reaction was the same as yours. But I cannot change anything as this data is provided by the institute under the RTI act. So we have to take it as true, as public institutions can face serious consequences for providing false or misleading data under RTI. Thanks :)

DeleteSo you need to understand the data I publish each year is based on the values given by the institute officially. In case you have a proof of the statement that you have made and if you friend has really joined at 75 percentile. Please email me with the relevant details so that I can then take this up with the institute as it is illegal to provide false information under the RTI Act. Thanks :)
75 is kinda way too high, GEM loses 10 points initially itself , how is this possible ?

DeleteSo see that is possible because Ranchi is the topmost priority out of CAP IIM's. Some even prefer it above Shillong. Next the data provided is by the institute itself. Hence, this is the official data. Thanks :)

DeleteSC-184 should give you a convert in a few lists. This is purely according to my calculations however, as Ranchi is a moron in terms of providing RTI data. Thanks and All the Best :)

DeleteFrankly saying ST-237 according to my knowledge seems difficult to convert. And even if you do that shall be in the last lists. But please note this is as per my knowledge of the admission processes at IIM's as Ranchi never honors RTI. Thanks :)
