Sir can you add the cs of iim amritsar for the year 2021 2023?
ReplyDeleteHello.
DeleteI have already filed to get the same. I should be getting it by next week and once I get the same will post it immediately on the blog. Thanks :)
how is minimum final composite less for general than obc, ews
ReplyDeleteHi Rakesh.
DeleteI was also having the same reaction but cannot help much as the data is directly provided by the institute. Hence, the data provided is correct. Thanks :)
Hi @Ronit, I have WL no. 511 for this year. Any chance of conversion ?
ReplyDeleteHello.
Delete511 in NC-OBC is slightly on the edge but you should still get a convert by the last waitlists. However, this is as per what I have seen over the years and no one can say anything for sure. Thanks and All the Best :)
Hello sir!, My composit score is 27.5 and nc-obc waitlist number is 260. should i pay for 10K for waitlist commitment fee?
ReplyDeleteHello.
DeleteAs per the trends I would suggest you to pay the waitlist commitment fee as you are bound to get a convert. But I would suggest if you have a better call to avoid it. if not then only go ahead and pay the fees as you would convert in a few lists. Thanks and All the Best :)
How can this CS score and WL be possible, my Composite score is 29.1 , i was at WL-2563 in first list, then drastically reduced to 274, currently at 234 after 5th list .
DeleteAs comment is published on14th may, with CS of 29.1 i was at 2563 till 16th of may
DeleteHello sir my waitlis number is 173 for sambalpur(EWS) chances for conversion
ReplyDeleteHello.
DeleteFrankly saying EWS-173 is slightly difficult to convert taking into consideration the buffer calls that the institute might have given out. But again this is as per my experience over the years and can go the other way as well. Thanks and All the Best :)
Hello my WL was 2600ish in the first round of sambalpur but in second round it is 315. After paying 10k Would I be able to convert in subsequent rounds. (OBC)
ReplyDeleteHello.
DeleteAs per the movement you have stated, you should actually pay and wait as there are high chances you might get a convert. But please note I am speaking this with my experience. Thanks and All the Best :)
I have been waitlisted in IIM sambalpur for 22-24 batch at 197 and from ews category. Chances of converting IIM sambalpur???
ReplyDeleteHello.
DeleteAs per the trends for last 2 yrs and taking into account the buffer calls that might have been given, you might convert in one of the last lists. However, please note this is as per my experience. Thanks and All the Best :)
Today the third list has been announced and my wl is 95 in sc with cs 27.6 .What are my chances sir?
ReplyDeleteHello.
DeleteYes as per my experience you should receive a convert in the subsequent lists. Thanks and All the Best :)
Hi ews category 138 waitlist in sambalpur and 68 in bhod gaya any chance to convert
ReplyDeleteHello.
DeleteAs per my experience both of these should give you a convert. However, Bodh Gaya should convert much earlier as compared to Sambalpur for which you might need to wait for a few lists. However, please note this is as per my experience over the years. Thanks and All the Best :)
Thanks a lot sir for you response. I have a doubt as there is no Movement till now in iim bodh gaya ews category so how many list i have to wait to convert 68 waiting
ReplyDeleteHi Gopal.
DeleteThe reason for not having movement is that many institutes have given extreme no. of buffer calls this year. That is the main reason due to which the movement is less or nil in some cases. Thanks and All the Best :)
Hii,
ReplyDeleteMy waitlist is 98 ( sc category ) after 4th list in iim sambalpur.
Will it get convert?
My cs is 26.76
Hello.
DeleteAs per the trends I am saying this year, it seems institutes have given exceptional number of buffer calls. In line with the same it seems the chances not are 50:50 frankly. Also the CS keeps on changing every year so don't go on the same. But do note this is according to my experience and you might still convert before admission closes. Thanks and All the Best :)
SC waitlist 143 after 5th round and CS score 23.05 .. what are the chances of conversion? please help..
ReplyDeleteHello.
DeleteAs per the recent trends due to exceptional no. of buffer calls, the waitlist movements have decreased. In line with the same according to the present scenario the conversion seems difficult to me frankly. However, please note this is according to my experience and the trends. Thanks and All the Best :)
Sir my wl is 72 in sc after 5th list. What are my chances now?
ReplyDeleteHello.
DeleteAccording to the current trends I would say 50:50 since the movements have decreased due to the buffer calls. But I still feel you should be able to convert by the time admissions close. But again this is as per my experience. Thanks and All the Best :)
Hello Ronit Sir, I have my waitlist somewhere around 100, general category after the issuance of 7th offer list. Will I be able to convert? Please throw some light...
ReplyDeleteHello.
Delete100 after 7th list is still a significant number. And with the buffer calls the institutes have given this year it seems very difficult to convert. It is best you look for alternatives and take admission as the movement will slow down now with some institutes already starting up. But again this is as per my experience over the years. Thanks and All the Best :)
Hi sir 30 waiting ews after 9th list is there any chance and how many list we can expect
ReplyDeleteHello.
DeleteFrankly saying the chances look bleak to me as most of the institutes have started their academic calendar now. Plus already 9 lists have passed by. But again this is as per my experience of the movements over the years and also the fact that buffer calls have been very high this year. Thanks :)
Sc waitlist 61 after 9 th round .. cs 23.00.. what is my chances of conversion? Please help
ReplyDeleteHello.
DeleteFrankly saying the chances look bleak as 9 lists have passed, plus the excessive buffer calls and most colleges have started their academic sessions. Also, the CS keeps changing every year. However, please note this is as per my experience. Thanks and All the Best :)
Category wise minimum CAT Percentile for Offered Candidates is less than cutoff percentile mentioned before that. Do they provide any relaxation in overall cutoff? And is it like that for all CAP IIMs? I'm way above all sectional cutoffs but missing overall by 0.1
ReplyDeleteHi Bhumika.
DeleteFor a general category Female candidate the cutoff is lower than that for the male candidates. For the upcoming batch while for general male it is sectional 70 and overall 92, for general female it is sectional 65 and overall 80. That is why the actual admission percentile is less that the cutoff mentioned. Thanks and All the Best :)
So for the lower cutoff candidates, will the GDPI be conducted separately by IIM Sambalpur?
DeleteHey Bhumika. No ideally the GDPI are conducted together itself an there are no separate ones organized except for the cutoff relaxation. Thanks and All the Best :)
DeleteHello sir my wl number is 132 SC category and have paid 10,000 for eoi, sir is there any chance to convert this college???
ReplyDeleteHey.
DeleteIf this was the rank at the beginning of the waitlist movement, then you should be having a fair chance at conversion. However, if this is as per the current movement, then it would seem a tad difficult as the admissions are almost closed for majority of the institutes. Thanks and All the Best :)
