ReplyDeleteHey.
DeleteMost welcome and I am glad you found the site useful :)
i remember there were more than 11 rounds in iim sambalpur
ReplyDeleteHey Shreyash.
DeleteThe data provided on this website has been derived from the college itself by official means. However, if you still have a doubt and if you can provide me with confirmed proof that there were more than 11 rounds then I can take it up with the institute. Thanks :)

My cap interview was very good
I am from ews category
Is ther any chance to convert iim sambalpur
Hey.
DeleteGoing by your profile and the interview you gave, you should definitely get a shot at IIM Sambalpur. Though conversion might not be in merit list but you still should get an admission offer in subsequent lists released by the institute. Though please note this is as per my experience as no one can be 100 percent sure. Thanks and All the Best :)

Got a call from iim sambalpur for interview.
I gave an average interview.
What are my chances of clearing it
Hey.
DeleteGoing by your academic record and the interview performance you have stated frankly it might be a bit difficult to convert. And this is because of multiple factors in your profile. However, please note that this is as per what I have seen over the years and can go the other way as well. Thanks and All the Best :)
Hi i have been waitlisted at 597 in sc category....what are my chances of conversion
ReplyDeleteHey.
DeleteAs per the trends over the last couple of years, 597 in SC seems difficult to convert as you can see from the post too. Though since the movement changes every year, it can go the other way as well. Thanks and All the Best :)
hello sir, where to check this years (2023) waitlists for sambalpur and amritsar. Please let us know. As of now (14-MAy-2023) not able to find it also its theres nothing in the application account regarding the same
ReplyDeleteHey.
DeletePlease check the links above it should give you data for IIM Sambalpur for the past 2 yrs as well apart from this one. For IIM Amritsar, the institute has declined for last 2 yrs to provide the data and thus I have a case pending with CIC for the same. I shall update the data as soon as I get it post that. Thanks :)
I have been waitlisted 311 in general this time whats my chances of coversion
ReplyDeleteHey.
DeleteLooking at the trends, I would say 311 seems difficult as a lot of people have come back saying institutes have given an even higher number of buffer calls this year. However, this is purely based on the stats and thus can go other was as well. Thanks and All the Best :)
Hello Sir, I am waitlisted at 430 General category at IIM Sambalpur. But that Waitlist number was 3901 initially & now its showing 430. I paid 10K amount for willingness to waitlist when they offered.
ReplyDeleteI am bit confused with the significant change in WL number. Can you please reply. How likely is it to get converted.
Hey.
DeleteAs per the trends I have see over the years most of the B-Schools have given excessive buffer calls. Due to this the movement has slowed down compared to the past few years. This would have also been a reason for the sudden drop in your WL no. However, a waitlist no. of 430 in June still seems significant to me and thus makes it slightly dicey to convert as per my experience. However, please note it can go the other way as well as no one can be 100 percent sure. Thanks and All the Best :)
I got waitlisted by 1691 in EWS category, so is there any chance for conversion?
ReplyDeleteHey.
DeleteChecking the trends over the last couple of yrs, 1691 in EWS seems extremely difficult to convert. Please have a backup option in place for the same. Thanks and All the best :)
My got waitlisted at 82 in SC, is there a chance to convert?
ReplyDeleteHey.
DeleteAs per the trends over the years, you should be able to convert SC 82. However, you might need to wait a few lists to do so as the buffer calls by these institutes are generally too high. Thanks and All the Best :)
