Hello sir... I'm waiting for IIM ahmedabad AC wise data of admission. Please do a post for that data too
ReplyDeleteHey.
DeleteI would have loved to get such a data but it would not only be tedious and time consuming but I also doubt such a bifurcation would be maintained at the institute level. Thanks and All the Best :)
will these composite score decreases with the waiting list or they are the cutoff of the last waiting list
ReplyDeleteHey.
DeleteNo the composite scores mentioned are for the final offer of admission and it won't decrease with waiting list. Thanks and All the Best :)
Is the highest composite score section correct? As it seems to be the percentile. Do reply.
ReplyDeleteHey.
DeleteI had clearly mentioned in my query that I need the highest CS i.e. CS of the topmost candidate from each category to have been offered admission. And since this was provided to me by the institute, I have no option to challenge the same. Thanks :)
Hey, how can the composite scores be so low if only the pi component is taken out of 48 points. Shouldn't it be much more.
ReplyDeleteHey.
DeleteThere are 2 points to this. First is please refer the policy document of IIM V for admission. It states that all the components would be added after standardization. And also the weight is given as 48 which does not mean 48 marks.
Secondly, this information has been given by the institute itself in official capacity. Thus, there is no way to challenge the same. Thanks and I hope this clarifies :)
still the difference between the highest and lowest cutoff is huge and hints that pi marks are out of 48. thanks though for replying
DeleteHey.
DeleteThe best way I would suggest would be dropping an email to the admissions committee and getting the same clarified. Also, most welcome :)
Hi. I was waitlisted at 813 and after after first waitlist i am at 643 in obc. What are the chances of convert?
ReplyDeleteHey.
DeleteAs per the trends I have seen over the years and the case of excessive buffer calls by most institutes this year, it frankly seems a tad bit difficult to me. However, please note no one can say for sure and it can go other way as well. Thanks and All the Best :)
