    1. Hey.
No there is a difference in the composite score calculation for the interview and final shortlist. You can go through the institute website using the link above and it should have full details of both the criteria. Thanks :)

    2. cuttoff for esw 9/8/8 ews for fms safe percentile pls reply

    3. Hey.
Irrespective of your category or the percentile your aim should always be to achieve the highest percentile that can be achieved. In your case thus the target should always be for 99.9+ and nothing less than that. The reason being the higher the percentile the easier would be your chances of conversion. Thanks and All the Best :)

  2. Hi Ronit, is the cutoff for final admission offer based on CS requirement of the first merit list or the final merit list which gets published after multiple wait list movements?

    1. Hey.
The CS for final admission is based on the CS of the last candidate to have been offered admission by the institute before the admission is closed and NOT the first merit list. Thanks :)

  3. Hi Ronit, Thank you for making this information public. Can you please share an example for calculating the CS for final round? That'll be great help. 50% weightage for CAT seems confusing whether it has to be taken in %ile or the raw score?

    1. Hi.
Most welcome and as per the CS calculation given in the brochure the institute should take in the actual score for the candidate and not the percentile. And if weightage is to be taken then it should as per my calculation be 0.5 * ((candidate score) * (100/198)).

However, to get the right calculation the best thing to do would be drop an email to the admissions committee seeking clarification on the same. Thanks and All the Best :)

    1. Hey.
In the top right corner of the RTI website search and select University of Delhi and in the RTI query mention this is for the Faculty of Management Studies. That should work. Thanks :)

  6. I am waitlisted at number 7 in the NC-OBC category. Can I assure that I'll convert FMS in the 1st WL?

    1. Hey.
Generally you should convert in the first waitlist itself as per the trends I have seen over the last couple of years. Though please note this changes every year. Thanks and All the Best :)

  7. Hi Ronit,
Thank you for this amazing information. Really glad to have found your site.
I want to file RTI to FMS Delhi but I don't know the method. I tried emailing them for the information but it's been a month and they have not responded. I also check the RTIOnline site but there I couldn't find FMS Delhi.
So please tell me how can I file RTI for it. Would really appreciate it.

    1. Hey.
Thanks a lot for your comments and I am glad you found the website useful.

Now for filing an RTI on FMS, please file the same under University of Delhi and in the RTI query mention that the RTI is for Faculty of Management Studies (FMS). Since FMS is just a management department under UoDEL, you cannot file an RTI on a department. Try it out and do tell me in case you need any additional help. :)
