Hi Ronit. Thanks a lot for publishing this data. I want to understand one thing. If the number of seats available in general category were 16, how come they offered the admission to 100 students ?
ReplyDeleteHey.
DeleteMost welcome :)
And yes for 16 seats 100 offers means buffers were given by the institute. Precisely 84 buffer offers.
Does this mean 100 buffer calls were provided to general candidates for IIMB PGPBA while only 16 general seats are available? Can they provide so many buffer calls?
ReplyDeleteHey.
DeleteNo it means 84 buffer calls were provided against 16 seats as 16 are actual calls in 1:1 ratio. And they can as they use historical data for the same. And if you can see even with so many buffers there was a waitlist movement. Thanks :)
Hi Ronit, Till what time the expected wait list movement happens?
ReplyDeleteTill June end?
Hey.
DeleteThe waitlist movement generally happens till June end but every b-school does mention a timeline of the admissions on its website. Requesting you to please refer the same or if the same is not there please drop an email to the admissions committee. Thanks and All the Best :)
Hey Ronit,
ReplyDeleteI am waitlisted at 44 for IIM b pgpba. Any chances of conversion?
Hey.
DeleteSeeing at the general trends for the course over the past couple of years, it does seem difficult to me. However, please note since the movements change every year this can go other way as well. Thanks and All the Best :)
Stats for 2023-25 ?
ReplyDeleteHello.
DeleteHave filed the application to get the same from the institute. Shall post as soon as I receive the same. Thanks :)
